Take Advantage of the “Shinagawa City Share Cycle” Program!

There are ninety-two share cycle ports in Shinagawa city (as of February 26), and many people use the service. The service covers Shinagawa City and fifteen other cities—Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shinjuku, Bunkyo, Taito, Sumida, Koto, Meguro, Ota, Setagaya, Shibuya, Nakano, Suginami, and Nerima—and you can rent and return a bicycle at any cycle port (dedicated bicycle parking lot) within these sixteen cities.
Why not take advantage of the convenient and comfortable Share Cycle service for sightseeing and shopping?

Share Cycle Use: Flow of Procedures

You must first install the app mentioned below and register as a member using it. After you register, choose a method for unlocking a bicycle: 1. use your public transportation IC card or mobile wallet services; or 2. select a bicycle directly from the app and then unlock it by inputting a four-digit code on the bicycle panel.  

1. Install the App and Register as a Member


 

Using the app, register your information and credit card information, etc.

2. Register Your Card Key


Press the bicycle panel and register your public transportation IC card or mobile wallet.  

 

3. Rent a Bicycle


Place your registered card over the bicycle at the cycle port.
Note: If you choose not to register a card key, choose a bicycle using the app and input the four-digit code on the bicycle panel.
 

 

4. Return the Bicycle


Return the bicycle and lock it at a cycle port at any of the sixteen regional cooperating cities.

How much does it cost to use this service?

• One-time member (including tax): 165 yen minimum per use
(165 yen for the first 30 minutes; 165 yen per 30-minute extension)

• Monthly member (including tax): 3,300 yen base per month
(Free for the first 30 minutes; 165 yen per 30-minute extension)

• One-day pass (including tax): 1,650 yen per day
(All-you-can-ride in a single day; until 11:59 p.m. of the day of use.)

Payment method: Credit card or d-barai payment

Are there any age or height restrictions for using the bicycles?

There are no age restrictions (although minors must have a parent’s permission), but there are height restrictions—those under 145 centimeters tall cannot use this service.

What happens if I’m involved in an accident?

The Share Cycle program is enrolled in various types of insurance for this possibility. If you have an accident while using Share Cycle, casualty insurance will be applied for all users except for conditions that insurance does not cover. For more details, please ask the Management Office (Tel: 0570-783-677).
Note: The office is available on a 24-hour basis to handle accidents or repair needs.
