About the COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shot (Third Injection)

● Reservations Now Being Taken for the Pfizer Booster Vaccine (Third Injection)
On January 19 (Wed.), Shinagawa City began taking reservations for the booster vaccine (third injection), which will to be administered at group vaccination sites, include medical institutions, and individual vaccination sites in the city. Vaccinations will begin on February 14 (Mon.) for residents whom six months have passed since the second injection.

● Moderna Vaccinations for Seniors Have Begun
Shinagawa City residents sixty-five years of age and older can get the booster dose of the Moderna Vaccine after the initial two rounds. Immunizations began on January 21 (Fri.) at group vaccination sites in the city (sites established by Shinagawa City).

● Flow of Procedures for Booster Vaccination (Third Injection) Reservations
Vaccination tickets are being mailed out gradually according to the date the second injection was completed. Please make your reservation after receiving your vaccination ticket.
Note: If you need more information, such as the mailing schedule, please visit the Shinagawa City website. In addition, if you received your second injection with a vaccination ticket from a different municipality, or if you were vaccinated overseas, you must file a separate application to obtain a booster vaccination ticket.
