Recommendations for Sheltering At Home (1)

Living in an evacuation facility or evacuation site during a disaster makes privacy difficult because you will be living with a lot of people. The change in environment may also cause some people health problems. And because there is a higher risk of the spread of COVID-19, it may be better to shelter at home if that is possible, or to take shelter at the home of a relative or friend.
Living in an environment you aren’t used to can cause a heavy burden physically and emotionally. It is a good idea to prepare to shelter at home on a regular basis so that you can continue to live in comfortable surrounding after a disaster.
