Order of Vaccinations
The national government currently indicates that vaccinations will be administered in the order shown below:
(1) Healthcare workers
(2) Senior citizens (born on or before April 1, 1957)
(3) People other than senior citizens who have underlying illnesses and people who work in facilities for the elderly, etc.
(4) Others (excluding those under sixteen years old)

● If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your family doctor before receiving the vaccination.
● The priority may change depending on instructions from the national government.
○ Since supplies of the vaccine will be limited at first, residents 65 years of age or older living in special nursing homes for the elderly and group homes (about 1,000 persons, and about 2,000 doses) have priority in the lineup for vaccinations. Vaccinations will start the week of April 26.

Mailing Vaccination Tickets
Shinagawa City will first mail vaccination tickets to senior citizens 75 years of age or older who have completed resident registration by May 12. The city plans to mail vaccination tickets to senior citizens between 65 and 74 years of age after that, depending on supplies of the vaccine.
Note: Vaccination tickets will be sent to the eligible individual residents, not to the household.

The standard date for ages is as of March 31, 2022.
