Shochiku Grand Kabuki

Shikan Nakamura VIII (Narikomaya) is coming to Curian (Civic Hall)!
This special kabuki program will include two popular performances. “Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura—Kawatsura Hogen Yakata no ba” (Yoshitsune and the Thousand Cherry Trees—Kawatsura Mansion Scene) is a masterpiece that depicts the love between parent and child, as well as the affection between a fox and a human being. “Renjishi” (Parent and Child Lion Dance) is a dance that employs nagauta (long epic song) and features a magnificent scene of lions shaking their manes.

Date and time: May 2 (Sat.)
Matinee: Performance starts at 2:00 p.m.
Evening: Performance starts at 6:00 p.m.
Note: The hall will open 30 minutes before the performances.
Location: Curian (Civic Hall) Large Hall (in front of Oimachi Station)
Tickets: S seats: 5,800 yen; A seats; 4,800 yen (all seats reserved)
Note: For A seats only, high school age and younger: 2,000 yen.
