Susuki grass

Susuki grass has long been appreciated in Japan as one of autumn’s seven flowers. Its long stem and the slight flash of silver as its flowers sway in the wind have earned susuki grass a special place in the hearts of the Japanese people. In Shinagawa City, you can find susuki grass in Higashi-Shinagawa Sea Park (2-6 and 3-9 Higashi-Shinagawa) around October each year.
