Shinagawa Uchimizu Strategy 2018:
Lowering the City’s Midsummer Temperature by 2℃

Uchimizu is the traditional practice of sprinkling water in gardens and on the streets to cool the surroundings in summer. Recycle your used bath water for uchimizu.

Dates: July 23 (Mon.) to Aug. 23 (Thu.)

Competition: 100 Scenic Uchimizu photos!
Please feel free to send in your photos showing uchimizu! The photographers who took the winning shots will receive a Shinagawa City gift certificate. For details, please visit the city website.
Application: Mail or bring in a print of your photograph(s), with your address, name, age, telephone number, date and time of shooting, location and title, to the Environment Promotion Subsection of the Environment Division.
Application deadline: Must be received by August 28 (Tue.)

Notes:
1. Limited to three photos per person/group; no collages allowed.
