The City Office Reorganized in April

Organizational aspects of the City Office changed in April to handle new administrative issues and provide you with even better services. The changes are as follows:

● Newly Established Section
〇 Nursery Support Section: Mainly handles clerical work related to private childcare facilities, and supports their establishment and operation.

● Newly Established Posts
〇 Unit in charge of Childcare and Education (Nursery Section): Creates nursery education curriculums and provides guidance on the operation of nursery schools, as well as maintains and improves the quality of nursery care.
〇 Section in charge of Long-term Care and Medical Care Alliance (Welfare Planning Section): Strengthens collaboration between nursing care and medical fields via a regionally inclusive care system.
〇 Section in charge of Health Care Coordination (Health Care Services Section): Promotes health and sanitation projects systematically.
〇 Section in charge of Civil Protection (Disaster Prevention Section): Promotes a faster and more accurate framework for dealing with threats such as ballistic missiles, terrorism, etc.

● Operations of Sections to Be Integrated
〇 Crisis Management Section: With the establishment of Section in charge of Civil Protection (Disaster Prevention Section), we will integrate the operations of the Crisis Management Section into the General Affairs Section.
〇 Section in charge of Childcare Facilities Coordination (Nursery Section): These operations will be integrated and named “Facility and Management.”

● Staff Functions to Be Abolished
〇 Unit in charge of Temporary Benefits (Welfare Planning Section): The unit will be closed as the city no longer accepts applications for temporary welfare benefits.
