Crossing the Many Islands of Indonesia: Like Traveling through Different Countries

Shinagawa City is very safe, convenient for transportation, and easy to live in. My favorite Indonesian restaurants and many Indonesian expats are here, so I can easily interact with people from my home country. Moreover, Shinagawa City’s landscape is pleasant, and it is wonderful to take in the beauty of the four seasons of Japan while walking along the Meguro River.
Indonesia has more than 17,000 islands, and over the country’s long history a wide variety of cultures, languages, religions and other facets have developed, each one is full of originality. In addition to Bali, which is popular among tourists, there are many areas where visitors can enjoy Indonesia’s traditions, food culture and rich nature, and we heartily recommend a visit to experience the countless charms of our land.
