Traditional Japanese Cultural Experience Tour in Shinagawa for Foreign Residents

We will experience three aspects of traditional Japanese cultural arts in the space of three hours, mainly in the Ebara and Oi areas. Everyone is welcome to join. Shinagawa tourism ambassador Cinnamoroll will also make an appearance.
Date and time: July 23 (Sun.); 1) Morning division: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 2) Afternoon division: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Eligibility: Foreign residents or those interested in offering hospitality to foreign residents; sixty persons per division (fifteen persons × four groups)
Meeting time: 1) 9:15 a.m., 2) 1:15 p.m.
How to participate: Come to Shinagawa Chuo Park (in front of the Shinagawa City Office) on the day of the event.
Dispersal location: 1) Around Togoshi-koen Station, 2) Kamishinmei-tenso Shrine

Experience examples:
• Gagaku (ancient imperial court music) performance, koto performance, oharai Shinto purification ritual, shrine maidens’ dance, and tasting shaved ice, cotton candy and Japanese sweets, breaking bricks, Zen meditation and karate
Notes:
1. The courses are predetermined.
2. Please participate in the tour wearing comfortable clothes as a summer heat countermeasure.
