16th Edo Kagura for the Entertainment of Shinto Gods

The Edo no Sato Kagura (a traditional dance performed to music dedicated to the gods), which is designated as an important intangible folk culture asset of Japan, will be performed by members of the Mamiya Shachu. Members of Shinagawa Shrine will also perform Dai-Dai KaguraSachigae no Mai,” which is a Metropolitan Tokyo–designated intangible folk cultural asset.
Date: March 27 (Sun.), from 1:00 p.m. (doors open at noon)
Performed pieces:Kaijin no Miya no Ba from Sankai Koeki” and“ Ubuya(Ugaya Fukiaezu no Mikoto Tanjou)
Capacity: 248 people (first-come, first-served basis)
Location and to apply: Come to Rikkokai Hall (2-32-3 Kita-Shinagawa) on the day of the event.
