How to Put Out Large-Sized Waste

You must arrange in advance to have large-sized waste (sodai gomi) collected. You can have such waste picked up at your home or you can bring your items directly to the Shinagawa City Recycling Center on Sundays. In case of bringing items directly on Sunday, the handling fee is lower if you bring it in yourself. Before disposing of an item as large-sized waste, consider whether it might be reused.
