Shinagawa Eco Festival 2013
—Volunteer Work That Strengthens Bonds

Enjoy various exhibits and attractions concerning the environment with family and friends while learning, thinking, talking, and doing something about the environment.
Date and Time: May 26 (Sun.), 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Note: Will be held even in light rain
Locations: Shinagawa Chuo Park (in front of the Shinagawa City Office) and Small and Medium Enterprises’ Center (1-28-3 Nishi-Shinagawa)

○ Shinagawa Chuo Park

• Environmentally friendly crafts
• Outdoor market with the theme of safeguarding everyday living
• Flea market
• Environment exhibition
• Booths selling food, drink, and other products
• Stage performances (from 10:35 a.m.: Eco Ranger Show; from 11:35 a.m.: Ultraman × Ranma Sensei Eco Science Performance; from 1:55 p.m.: exhibition of discarded items that are still usable; from 2:20 p.m.: Love & Peace Concert)
• Ground attractions (band performances, dance performances, bouncy castle, nature games, environment attraction corner of eco experience workshop, soccer experience, and more)
• Electric vehicle test rides (10:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.)
• Fuel and battery-operated vehicle test drives (10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.)
• Exhibition of discarded items that are still usable (and a lottery for items collected as garbage that are still usable)
• Collection of unwanted gardening soil and free distribution of recycled gardening soil
• Eco “stamp rally”

○ Small and Medium Enterprises’ Center Gymnasium

• Shinagawa hero movie Krayverz (10:30 to 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon., and 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.)

○ Small and Medium Enterprises' Center 3F large meeting room

• Solar crafts class (we will make a solar train of three connected cars powered by sunlight)
Date and Time: 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
Capacity: Those who are in the third grade of elementary school and older; maximum of 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis
Fee: ¥1,000
Participation Procedures: Apply on the day of the event from 11:30 a.m. at the tent next to the Shinagawa Chuo Park administration office
