Bunko-no-Mori Park Is Open!

Using the natural environment of the remains of the National Institute of Japanese Literature—including the institute’s lake and trees—Bunko-no-Mori (which literally means “Library Forest”) Park is a new oasis in the midst of city life.
The property is located within the Togoshi Park Zone, which is designated as an open evacuation area meant to ensure a disaster-resistant community. The park’s open spaces will serve as evacuation sites that ensure the personal safety of those who take shelter here from the dangers of a spreading fire if a major earthquake should strike.

Since there are no fences surrounding the park, you can take shelter here
from any direction if a disaster strikes.
