The 12th Edo Sato-Kagura Performance


Kagura


Members of Mamiya Shachu perform the traditional sato-kagura (traditional dance performed to music), which has been passed down through the generations since the Edo period. This performance has been designated as Edo Sato-Kagura and is the only national important intangible folk cultural asset of Shinagawa City. There will also be a Daidai Kagura performance, which is traditionally performed at Shinagawa-jinja Shrine.
Date and Time: March 20 (Sun.), from 1:00 p.m. (The hall will be open from 12 noon.)
Capacity: 248 people (on a first come, first served basis)
Location/Reservation: Come to Rikkokai Hall (2-32-3 Kita-Shinagawa) on the day of the event.
