Summer — Why Not Visit the Museum of Maritime Science by the Sea?

Shinagawa AquariumThis science museum is dedicated to the theme of ships and the sea. The museum has six floors and one basement. One of the floors is devoted to ships and the sea and has hands-on attractions. On another floor, you can learn about the history of Japanese-style boats and view high-quality exhibits, such as models. This is a facility where not only children but also adults can have fun. There are museum pamphlets in three languages: English, Chinese, and Korean.
In addition, the Soya, which was an observation ship to the South Pole, and the Yotei-maru, which was a ferryboat between Aomori and Hakodate, are docked in front of the science museum and are open to the public.
