Public Health Centers and Health Service Centers Have Been Reorganized

Like the City Office, public health centers and health service centers have made organizational changes. Sanitation-related divisions and contagious-disease-related divisions of former centers have moved to Shinagawa City Office Hon Chosha. The main services handled at the City Office are as follows:

Public Hygiene Section Sanitary conditions of food; food and beverage outlet licensing; sanitary conditions of homes and drinking water; licensing for barbershops and beauty salons; clinic- and pharmacy-related matters; pet-related matters (cats, dogs, etc.); consultation regarding pest control (insects) Hon Chosha 7F
Health Care and Disease Prevention Section Contagious diseases, immunizations, etc.
Note: Such services as health checkups for infants/toddlers and expectant mothers, various health consultation, and subsidies for medical expenses will continue to be handled at local public health centers.
