Changes to Shinagawa City Organization Names and Service Counters Made in April

In order to offer even better services, Shinagawa City Office has changed the names of administrative sections and service counters based on new systems and revisions in the local government ordinances.

Establishment of New Subsections to Promote Programs:
Specially-Designated Health Instruction Desk (NHI and Pension Section)
This desk coordinates programs such as specially-designated health instruction programs along with revisions in the medical system.
Early Intervention Service Desk (Welfare for the Disabled Section)
This desk coordinates support programs for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders, etc.
Faculty Employment Desk (Guidance Section)
This desk coordinates the preparation, employment procedures and management systems for the unique recruitment system for teachers in Shinagawa.

Change in the Location of Service Counters:
The support center for everyday living for disabled persons, which was formerly inside Katei Anshin Center (“Family Peace Center,” 2-12-2 Hiratsuka), has been moved to a new location inside Shinshin Shogaisha Fukushi Kaikan (“Welfare Center for the Handicapped,” 5-2-2 Hatanodai)
