1. Japanese Language Class
Dates and times: Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 29 to December 8 (a total of 20 lessons excluding November 3)
Morning session: 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Afternoon session: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Evening session: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Shinagawa-ku International Friendship Association
Eligibility: Foreign residents who live or work in Shinagawa
Courses and times:
Part 1 (for beginners): Morning and evening sessions
Part 2 (for individuals who can read and write hiragana and katakana): Afternoon and evening sessions
Part 3 (for individuals with everyday conversa-tional skills): Afternoon and evening sessions
Fee: ¥7,000 per course (textbook fee included)
Class limit: 18 people for each course (first-come, first-served basis)

2. The 22nd Home Cooking Class – An opportunity for interaction between foreign and Japanese residents
Date and time: October 22 (Sat.), 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Cooking classroom, Curian 4F (in front of Oimachi Station)
Eligibility: Japanese and foreigners who live or work in Shinagawa
Program: Japanese home cooking
Fee: ¥1,000
Deadline for applications: Must arrive by September 30 (Fri.)
Class limit: 18 foreigners and 18 Japanese (chosen by lottery)

If you are a foreign resident, include your nationality.
