Seeking Foreign and Japanese Residents as Students for Ikebana Flower Arrangement Class – an opportunity for interaction between foreigners and Japanese


Date and time: Fridays, from September 9 to December 9, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (12 classes altogether)
Eligibility: Japanese and non-Japanese who live or work in Shinagawa
Fee: ¥14,000
Application deadline: August 5 (Fri.)
How to apply: Send a prepaid return postcard or fax or the application form on the website to Shinagawa-ku International Friendship Association with the following information: (1) “Ikebana class,” (2) postal code and address, (3) your name (with furigana), (4) age, (5) phone number, (6) name, address, phone number of your company (if you work), (7) nationality (if you are a foreign resident).
*One application per person
Class limit: 12 foreign residents, 8 Japanese (selected by lottery)
