Insurance Premium Payment Procedures
The annual insurance premiums are to be paid in 10 installments from June through March of the following year. The insurance premiums for the months of April and May will be spread out over the installments to be paid from June.
Mailed in mid-June: Insurance premium notice of determination and five invoices (for June through October)
Mailed in mid-November: Five invoices (for November through March)
*The number of invoices mailed may vary depending on the insurance premium amount and payment conditions.

If you have not yet filed a Resident’s Tax Report, please do so as soon as possible. If even one household member fails to file a Resident’s Tax Report, then the insurance premiums cannot be reduced for the household, even if the total household income is low.

If you moved into Shinagawa City on or after January 2 of this year, then the Resident’s Tax paid to the municipality of your previous address will be used as reference. You will first be notified of the per capita amount due for your insurance premiums, then, as soon as your Resident’s Tax amount is confirmed, you will receive a notification of adjustment.
